A Great Resource for History Sites is
The HistoryNet ....but we've taken the best ones
and put them in the Tables below. Likewise with the following Sites: HyperHistory
has a
great Timeline feature & links galore.
The Historical
Text Archive is a Great Resource. The Internet
History Sourcebooks Project from Fordham University is a must visit
too! We've also put links to their sub-categories in our corresponding
LinkOn Tables. Historical
Timelines is a similar Site. In addition to the Sites listed above, the
Table below contains more History Resource Sites.
Learn about the past from the people who actually lived it. There are
accounts from 664 B.C. all the way to modern times.
There are some really fascinating first-person accounts of famous
events. Read what it was like to see Rome burn in 64 A.D. You can also
read diary excerpts of a Polish physician during World War II.
The information contained on these pages is more powerful than
dates and statistics.
The next Table has links to Online History Publications. The
remaining Tables are organized by periods of History from Ancient History to Modern
History. To find out what's on the History Channel click on the button - - - -
